I need to… Access PA Supports in the community
Hi my name is Jordan Byrne and I am a power wheelchair user. I am very good at using the computer and I like listening to audio books. My home is located in a cul-de-sac and this means that I can go out on the road knowing that I am safe.
As a service user with Enable Ireland Dublin Adult Services in Dun Laoghaire I want to be able to get out and about more during the day. I want to go shopping, drop in to local cafes for coffee and sometimes lunch. I would also like to attend other Day Centres as well as the Centre in Dun Laoghaire. However in order for me to get out and about and do these other things I need the support of a one on one Personal Assistant. Without this I can only get out now and again instead of on a regular basis.
