My name is Ron from Letterkenny, Co Donegal. I am an IWA service user in Letterkenny. I have had MS since 1992, and I use a powered wheelchair since my MS has progressed. I was a Farmer before I was diagnosed with MS, I miss doing the simplest of jobs, which now take a lot of effort. I have a lot of frustration and anger inside of me now, because I am not able to do simple tasks. I miss my two brothers that have passed away a lot. They did a lot to help me manoeuvre about.
I appreciate all the help and support I get from IWA, they make my life worth living!
I find it hard to get about as my brothers have passed away and they done lot to help me.
I have a bus pass for 20 years and have uses it about 4/5 times in them 20 years. I find it very hard to get public transport in Donegal because I live in a rural area.
